Who is Shanna ?

Well the name Shanna comes from the owner Dana's middle name Shanta and Shanna

will be the name of her first daughter.

WHAT IS DOUBLES ?

It is a sandwich made with two flat fried breads (The bread is made of flour,

baking powder, salt, and ground turmeric, which gives the bread its yellow color)

filled with curried channa. Topped with a variety of spicy chutneys

WHAT IS PHOLOURIE ?

Pholourie are little balls of split pea flour fried and served in a thin sweet chutney

sauce (usually mango or tamarind).

WHAT IS  CHANNA ?

Channa quite simply is Chickpeas also called Garbanzo beans its all the same bean just.

CURRY CHICKEN -

Chicken along with an array of other spices including, masala powder, saffron,

ginger make up curry powder the two are combined and cooked, sometimes can

be spicy.( HOWEVER OUR VERISON IS NOT SPICY )

LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN –

Not hot not spicy a simple blend of herbs lemon and black pepper done two ways

either baked or grilled

Ribbon sandwiches are colorful sandwiches that come in two types.

Cheese ribbon sandwich are made with a grated blend of cheese.

Cucumber ribbon sandwich are made with a grated blend of cheese and cucumbers.

The filling is spread onto white or whole wheat bread.

Our version of Pelau is made with beef, chicken or vegetarian, with peas, rice, vegetables and

coconut milk
